You can beat this too

Just wanted to give you ladies some inspiration .. I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer, aged 39.

I had surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and a year on intravenous Herceptin.

I will be 55 next month … I initially had regular monitoring for about a year after ending treatment and an annual mammogram until I was 50 and now they’re every 3 years.

I’ve had no recurrence and I look back on that period of my life as if it happened to somebody else, it’s all just a vague memory now.

The key is to have the mindset of a survivor not a victim.

Good luck to all of you x
