Early this year I was having bad hormonal issues and noticed hair growing on my boob, (test’s are still on going for these issues) I stupidly shaved it then hour later forgot I did and applied fake tan! I then got a bruise/Rash ( on left boob) and was given antibiotic cream & told to change my bra’s as they look a bit tight!

but now it’s been over a good 6 months + and I’m starting to get something else.. I have Been to the doctor this week as I have a really uncomfortable/ Heavy feeling on my left boob. no rash or marking this time, I will admit I do still shave my boob time to time as I am so embarrassed of it & think maybe I have suspected PCOS.

my doctor has now sent me to the Breast clinic but look on my notes it has a 2WW & ‘Suspected Breast cancer’

Referral out - Hospital Fast track referral for suspected breast cancerCoded entry - Fast track referral for suspected breast cancer (XaMeC)Coded entry - Choice and booking enhanced services administration (XaMJa)

being raw here, should I be worried? I know I will have to wait until I’m seen and what they say but not sure if anyone on here will understand terms & had same experience! For reference Im 23 years old!

Its always worrying to see that 2WW (2 week wait) on a referral but this is now the best option your GP has to get you seen quickly. It creates anxiety but the alternative non urgent route is probably a 1 yr wait by now. Most likely you’d have a mammogram to see if there’s anything that explains your symptoms and to rule out anything bad. And if /when that’s ruled out, then they will explore other reasons. Hope everything works out so you get a reason for your symptoms.
