Secondary breast cancer

Has anyone had secondary breast cancer in the bones? I need some help and advice. I had breast cancer stage 3, 7 years ago. I’ve been having a pain in my bottom for a while. First I thought it was internal haemorrhoids but now it seems to be the whole left buttock and I am wondering if the cancer has now gone into my bones starting in my bottom/pelvis? Where does it normally start in the bones. Can anyone help me. Thank you

if a cancer metastasises it can end up anywhere - as I understand things. If you are in the UK, phone one if the cancer charities on Tuesday. Such as MacMillan.

As Happyrosie said, the metastases can go anywhere. Please get in touch with your GP/Onco Team to have an urgent investigation for peace of mind.

I had a lumpectomy, chemo and radiotherapy for grade 3 cancer…in 2014.

I was told that radiotherapy could affect the muscle in my arm.

The same arm..has had ongoing issues ever since then…mostly if I raise it (for instance to comb my hair)….a sharp pain in the muscle. But it can also occur by simply turning over in bed.

🤔I was wondering..if anybody had experienced similar in the side they’d had radiotherapy.

Hey wobblybee... I posted something the other year along the same lines.. although I declined the rads due to the large area combined with my connective tissue diseases and the fact the one said the 9inches x 5inches area "would become like leather".. so I wouldn't be able to dress, cook, look after myself and that was a no from me. Anyway... search my posts.. Someone wrote to me the other day on it and suggested some specific therapies to help with it... Will have a look now..

I would also suggest starting to take Collagen............ it made a huge difference to my healing.. as nothing was healing even up to the 6mth mark.. awful. I recommend the best which is from the Bare Biology team... all the others everywhere have all sorts of fillers and nasties... so hope you give it a try - will take about 6wks to make a difference... also helps us look much younger, and more dewy! All the very best to you.
