So I found a large lump in my breast and went to the GP a week and a half ago and was put on the fast track 2 week wait (or whatever it’s called now). I have been contacted today for an appointment in early January and I’m stressing out. My breast is becoming larger and I have a spreading reddening area which is peeling like sunburn. Has anyone else had this? My mum died of breast cancer when I was younger so it runs in the family.

I've never heard of that. With a bit of luck could be mastitis, or a fluid filled cyst if its growing daily and the skin is peeling. They do say the majority of lumps are not cancerous. I couldn't even feel a lump with my cancer, but it was under the bust where a bra wire runs. Fortunately a routine mammogram picked it up. Try to keep busy and not let your mind wander, although we always say the wait is worse than not knowing x
Yes, I have had cancer and while I was taking Letrozole on two occasions my breast reddened and felt lumpy. Both times turned out to be mastitis and cleared up with antibiotics . Fingers crossed for you. Take care.
