Benign looking intramammary node on first post treatment screening

Should I celebrate or push for a biopsy to be sure? They told me is fine, but what if is not?

For context, I love the NHS...but I did go private for my diagnosis because they thought I was fine and too young for screening (despite very strong family history).

Now I feel like I need to do my thing, if you know what I mean. But I also don't want to waste money on paranoia.

Hi there.

If it puts your mind at ease, then go for a biopsy. There is nothing worse than worry, which in itself can cause health issues and lack of sleep. Personally, I think you are being very wise to leave no leaf unturned. Wishing you well, Lainey xx

I was told my stage 3 cancer was a cyst so I would urge you to push for a biopsy. Wish you well.

Hi Nanda

Only you can answer this for you. If you feel that you needed to go private for your diagnosis I would be inclined to do the same again. It’s money well spent for peace of mind. There is no price on health is there?

I had a lump scan and was told it was scar tissue only to be told a year later on biopsy that it was cancer. Not to concern you but to to illustrate that your fears are not necessarily unfounded.

I hope this helps in some way ❤️

Fxx
