Just home from my first AC chemo, so the journey has begun. A friend drove me there, and we passed the time playing scrabble, so it was fine. Feeling tired, but I await the effects from tomorrow so for now just concentrating on drinking loads. And having to get used to taking multiple tablets which is not something I am used to!
Glad the wait is over and I have finally started treatment, but another part of me recognises that my life will be very different from now on no matter what.

You are doing absolutely the right thing, continue to drink loads, get the tablet timetable sorted and be good to yourself. Best of luck with the chemo.
