Hallo everyone, I was diagnosed mid October and recovering from right breast mastectomy + axillary dissection 5 days ago. Was home with drain which came out today thank goodness. I have read some of the lovely, challenging, difficult, inspiring posts on here. Looking forward to visiting the Haven Welcome day on the 15th. My pathology results are on the 8th. I used to work as an admin asst at my local hospital so it's strange to be on the other side.

Welcome to the forum jamaica2. I also had a right breast mastectomy ( three weeks ago) with removal of three nodes. All clear and clear margins. You have the drain out - great! Mine was in for two weeks! I became a master of Camouflage! Although struggling to be comfortable in a bra by the end of the day, recovery has been good. I wish you well with yours. 🌺
All the best with your recovery and results. We all think about about one another on this site. It's good to get questions answered or just to air your frustrations. Keep us posted x

I thank God, that do all that i do......hang in there, you have us, and you will learn, that this is where you will find all of your answers to all of your questions......
