I had been taking the pill for 7 days, I had sex with my partner and I'm scared that the will won't have worked because I had slept with him on the seventh day. Is that enough Days?

Hi there

Do you mean you have just started taking the contraceptive pill for the first time? If so, if you started it on day 1 of your period you would be covered, but if you started it anywhere else in your cycle (depending on it’s length) you would not be covered until you have used 7 pills (so could have sex on the 8th day to be covered). If you have been on it a while and you were re-starting after a 7 day break, then you would be covered. If you are worried I would recommend taking a pregnancy test 3 weeks after the unprotected sex.

I've taken it in the past a while ago but I stopped because I didnt need it. Would have been a good couple of months since I had taken month after month. But I started to take it on the A Monday and had unprotected sex on the Sunday
