I was diagnosed with osteoporosis and prescribed apo risedronate 150 mg per month Have taken 1 been a week and have extreme bone pain and other problems I was ok before taking this

I was diagnosed with osteoporosis/osteopenia a few years ago. I refused bone drugs and take a plant calcium with other minerals in it, also, D3, MK-7, and Strontium citrate every day. After 2 years my bone scan improved quite a bit. I also walk 3-4 miles a day and lift weights a couple times a week.

I was taken 35mg once a week for 12 months. It has caused extreme hair thinning and hypocalcemiaive stopped taking it 4 weeks ago and from what I've read it takes around three months to be free of the drug
