severe osteoporosis and reclast

does anyone really know if reclast helps severe osteoporosis t12 from a lot of what I've been reading it doesn't ,is there anyone with a t12 dx that it has done anygood,

Are you asking because you have had your infusion and are still in pain?

If that is the case it sounds like you need to get your GP to refer you for an MRI so that the source of your pain can be pinpointed.

I think (and I’m not 100% sure on that) the idea of your reclast infusions is to stop your bones from fracturing. I don’t think it is supposed to stop your pain but again I don’t know. From what I understand, osteoporosis itself doesn’t cause pain - it is the fracture and I’m not sure reclast will stop your pain.

I really do think you need to have a scan of some sort then to see a consultant who can properly explain everything to you and prescribe proper pain relief if that is your problem.
