The supplement is made from resin from the boswellia tree, or frankincense. It's been used in Ayurvedic medicine and is being researched for conditions from arthritis to cancer.

Sorry you are having joint pain, radars. I have taken Boswellia AKBA, believed to be a more potent form, in the past.

It's thought to have anti-inflammatory effects and may benefit various conditions. This website talks about it for arthritis.

This study conducted on rats goes into the mechanisms and discusses a possible antiosteoporotic effect on bones.

I understand. I put the information there in case anyone wants to know more about it or is intrigued by the suggestion that it could help with osteoporosis. :)

It's hard to say what specific effect it had on me. I healed well, but I was taking multiple supplements and vitamins as well as optimising nutrition and rest. Maybe some others will come along with more relevant experiences.
