radiotherapy and zoledronic acid

hi,does anyone know if you have had radiotherapy is it safe to have zoledronic acid infusion, I have read that you should not have zoledronic acid if you have had any radiation.

this isn’t my personal experience but my mum has breast cancer and is currently going through chemo then radiotherapy but then will be on oestrogen blockers for 5 years and has been told she will need the bone infusions……most females who have been through chemo and radiotherapy plus oestrogen blockers have to have the bone infusions due to the osteoporosis effect of the treatment so I would say it’s safe to have the Zoledronic acid. Also any doctor that knows your medical history would not prescribe Zoledronic acid if it wasn’t safe so your answer would come from the specialist who prescribed you the Zoledronic acid.
