Corticosteroids injectins while on Prloia

Hi All,

Has anyone had the experience of Corticosteroid injections into the L l4/5 and L5/S1 Facet joints while on Prolia.

I have concerns about the risk of severe infection in the joint. Have had to take repeated Antibiotics for UTI's -never had one in my life before Prolia. Hoping someone can tell me their experience good or bad to help me make an informed decision.

Have seen the GP for assessment but he said he had never see any of his patients with an infection after the injection. Didn't think to clarify whether they were on Prolia. That could be a defining point on the risk assessment. I guess it depends on how much pain you have . Mine is intermittent because of advanced Scoliosis and OP.
