Losartan and increased heart rate

I’ve been taking ramipril for about a month and just changed to Losartan 25 as felt the ramipril was making me anxious. I’ve noticed my resting heart rate has increased slightly from about 67 to 72 average. Is this a thing? Obviously as an anxious person I’ve focussed in on it!!!

depends what it says on the tablet’s leaflet!

There won’t be too many many on this forum with your particular regime, and medical/family history and so on, so anything we say here about your particular circumstances aren’t going to be scientific in any way, just anecdotal- and therefore could be completely the wrong thing! Suppose someone says “yes, same for me “ and five people say “no” I don’t think you’d be far forward.

The best thing is to concentrate on a good diet and plenty of water, do the things that you are in control of and forget about those that you aren’t. Breathing exercises to help your anxiety too.
