Suffering with sinuses something terrible! I’ve read you can’t take decongestants with bp meds but wondering if anyone has any advice re how much to the letter I should follow this?
should I def not take one or will one or 2 over the next couple of days be ok?
On 10mg of Ramipril and Amlodipine
Thanks! 🤧

if you mean decongestants such as Day Nurse or Sudafed , yes you’re not supposed to. I talked it over with my pharmacist, though, and he was happy for me to take a half-dose.
Also, I use a nasal spray which is fine for about four days then suddenly you get slight bleeding so have to stop.
I get bad congestion also. Apparently meds such as Sudofed cause high bp.I am on Losartan and get congestion on other meds too but this one is worst. But it does work for me but on high dose.
I get sinus problems anyway but worse now on BP meds mainly ARB,s which work but cause many side effects.A salt rinse does help. You can buy from any Chemist. Also certain Nasal spray such as Avarys.
I got high BP after using so much Sudafed in 2020.Still have chronic Sinus.and blocked tubes.Waiting for grommets op.now at 73.lol.There is something you can buy from chemist esp.for sufferers with high bp.Goggle it and there are several meds to use.We cannot use Ibuprofen neither.Lots of bp meds can also cause or worsen sinus or ear problems. They can cause tight neck congestion ear pain etc.
