Chlorthalidone (25mg) & Candesartan (8mg)

I've been stable on these two medications since losing approximately 5 stone in 2016. According to the BMI estimator, I still have about 5 stone more to lose, which has and continues to be a challenge for me at the age of 62. I've been taking at least one BP med. since I was 20 years' old, so my question is: if I am able to reduce my body's mass to 11 stone, what reasonable possibility is there that I might be able to be taken off BP medications all together?

The older you get the more difficult it is to lose weight, so keep up the good work! I was able to reduce medication after I had lost just under 20% of my previous weight.

Regardless of the medication aspect, I’m sure you know in your heart of hearts that losing more weight will benefit you.
