Let's talk about BP and CKD. (Take your ACE at night if using it for BP too?)

Chlorthalidone (25mg) & Candesartan (8mg)
I've been stable on these two medications since losing approximately 5 stone in 2016. According to the BMI estimator, I still have about 5 stone more to lose, which has and continues to be a challenge for me at the age of 62. I've been taking at least one BP med. since I was 20 years' old, so

Hospital put me on lasix for it but my husband takes
chlorthalidone
and it says it’s from estrogen fluid retention he takes for high blood pressure. This is a person that use to only take herbs now I’m on all these drugs and not thrilled about it but you have to do what you have to do.

Been put on atenolol-
chlorthalidone
and it has helped control pretty much all the sever symptoms. Been a stress full 3 months. Anyone else with a similar tale? Any help or suggestions is appreciated.
