Twelve years ago I was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis. At the time I was drinking a lot of Diet Coke. When I stopped so did my symptoms. I was later diagnosed with Hashimotos and a b12 deficiency. I’m on injections weekly.
Over a week ago I started having urgent pressure constantly. I took a home UTI test that showed leukocytes. I went to a urgent care center that said no bacteria and no UTI. I called my dr and told him I went to urgent care and they said I don’t have a UTi but have urgency
. He said if home test showed leukocytes then you do have a UTI and prescribed me cipro . I think it’s getting worse.
So uncomfortable and need advice

I had a UTI for a year and a half. Am allergic to antibiotics, so I tried everything I could with no improvments. Then was tested, have Sensory Detrusor Overactivity, a neurological diagnosis, I then tried Allibiotic, CF, a natural antibiotic, brand name NOW. Have been fine since then, CIPRO can cause health problems., Look it up online.
Are you living or working in a water damaged building? That's exactly the bladder response I was having. It's mast cell mediated, there's tonnes of mast cells within the bladder lining which is made of connective tissue. Are you hypermobile per chance? Do you find dietary sources exacerbate the problem? Try eliminating all berries, stone fruit, citrus, banana, grapes and all other high histamine fruits. Eliminate all high histamine vegetables, beverages. Eat no molds, no ferments, drop dairy.
You need a massive increase in vegetables here. I just described the most gentle and nutrient dense way to eat on the planet.
Increase water.... But none of this will fix the underlying issue of you're living near contamination. These microbes come to take to black, to end life, to break down matter, you can't let them set up a microbial lair right near you.
That’s wonderful that you don’t live or work in a Water damage building. When I said hyper mobile I don’t mean moving fast I mean extremely flexible, are you extremely flexible in other ways?
