Had hysterectomy 8 yrs ago, have been really well and active ie: lots of walking, but now have been diagnosed with anterior bladder prolapse. Not painful, but wary of walking, especially long walks. Is it normal for the discomfort to affect one in this way?

Hello Milly, not sure where we left off. I’m a technophobe so cant always get backI now have a pessary which is a miracle except.... very messy, and I have to use oestrogen cream but will ask about your suggestion. It was such a relief and have just had 1st replacement and talked about op, but I’m the wrong age and another 6 weeks of ‘taking it easy’

Plus anaesthetic doesn’t appeal so will keep on with pessaries. Just messy and wondered if there’s anyone out there with suggestions?

Good luck Milly
