Hi has anyone had problems with travel insurance ?I have been discharged from treatment and contacted my insurance company and they want my Doctors surgery to add a note to my medical records stating I am fit to travel(fly) abroad. The surgery won't do so as the doctor states he is not qualified to make the decision

When that happened to me my Cardiologist gave me a letter.

similar issue here - docs don’t want to do this. Try other insurers - see MoneyHelper or BHF website where there’s some help
