Just rang as we aren't visiting until 1pm. He's back on ventilator and they will put tracheotomy back in over the weekend, so he's going nowhere .
Sadly new update, back on ventilator and the tracheotomy going back in, too mad secretions and he couldn't clear them. They were going to leave him with the cuff down until Sunday or Monday before they removed it, but went early and this is the result, more distress
Please have a word with the hospital and your GP to see if there is some sort of support for you during this nightmare. Unless you remain well & strong you won't be able to continue with the fantastic help you are giving your hubby xx
Hugs, stay strong for him, it will be better but ups and downs are natural ❤️
Because we want to try and help the best we can and want to share the good and not so good times with you
And because it is good for you to get things of your chest so to speak when you feel you cannot take much more and all these ups and downs you have gone through for months now there is no wonder you feel this way
It seems like a long hard road at the moment and just when something is in sight it gets taken again this must be so hard for you both to deal with physically and emotionally but somehow , someway you are both hanging in there because eventually these downs will stay up
You have both come this far now and I know it is not easy but stay strong , stay positive it is a long recovery I know but one that will come good
You post and keep letting us know what is happening how he is and just as important how you are doing to x
