Good morningI suffer from the same problem, same age, take aspirin along with what seems like half the contents of the pharmacy! I sometimes end up with bruises in places that would seem impossible to hit or knock but they disappear quite quickly. Don't think it's too much to worry about x

Just wondering whether any of your medications have been changed recently or whether you've had a new one added which might be the cause of the bruising. It's likely to be an anti-coagulant or anti-platelet medication that causes this. I'd certainly refer the issue to your GP.

Good morning. I found Ticagrelor made me look like a victim of abuse - huge bruises in the oddest places - just like nursenancy53 - but at least I only had to take it for 12 months. It sounds likely that it's one of the medications - so I can only offer the same advice as GWP1952 - talk to your GP and see if anything can be swapped about. I used arnica too but it doesn't help with the cause. Fingers crossed that there's a solution for you

I bruised easily even before I was put on the usual cocktail of heart medicines. I've started to turn it into a game, trying to work out what caused the latest bruise, but some are still a mystery 😩

yes, I have the same problem and have given up on arnica in favour of the waiting game! I try to be careful but as you know, some bruises seem to appear without an obvious cause. I have a couple of huge bruises where my husband was trying to help me but his thumb pressed too hard and then the same day the same thing happened with my sister! My bruises seem to take a long time to go too. Just something we have to live with and try to avoid if at all possible!

Hi. Me too, and I bruise easily too. That’s part of the game I’m afraid. I’ve learned to just ignore the bruises. They go away!

I'm on dispersable aspirin and Ticagrelor. I end up with bruises in places I didn't know you could get bruises. They just appear, a slight brush or knock against something can trigger them. I don't worry about it.
