Well that high speed he is not well experience continues with a Ultrasound yesterday. Cancer patients really get good treatment, I am being reimbursed for travel and don't pay for parking. And this morning a phone call from a sympathetic lady called Mandy from the specialist oncology support team, she had contacted Mr R about any potential complications and said that he was not concerned (about complications) and they were proceeding with the headlong rush towards probable poison and nuclear energy, otherwise known as chemo and radiotherapy.

My social calendar is filling up nicely , a MRI tomorrow morning and a needle biopsy on Monday.

On the subject of Mr R had a sympathetic email from him saying sorry to hear about my passinger and get on with getting to remission. Which was nice.

I have been looking for a suitable name for the passinger my best friend suggested cancy MC canceface, I don't think that he is giving it the gravitas it deserves so suggestions gratefully accepted.

So far having had a bypass dosent seem to have been a problem with the treatment, but strictly speaking it is early in the "journey" 😃.

One slightly odd fact I was booted out of Wolverhampton at 11.45 two years ago tomorrow, and my appointment tomorrow is at 11.45 .

It's a NHS plot once they have you they don't like to let go.

On the real plus side it's six months since my last puff of gtn.

Things seem to be moving nicely, which is good. It sounds like you’ve got a really good team of health professionals in place which makes the experience a little bit more comfortable and reassuring for you.

Let us know how the appointment tomorrow and on Monday goes.

Good luck.

Glad you treatment/tests are progressing. When my wife had breast cancer she referred to it as "pea", mainly because that's what it looked like in scans. Take care

I haven't had a decent look at the scans yet, but when I saw it on the naselendoscopic camera I thought that it's resembles a Horta from Star Trek.Perhaps with more slimy gunky bit's but definitely the devil in the dark.

Thanks for the reply.

I do hope they are affording you celebrity status after getting through your ticker issues to now be facing trial by chemo and radiotherapy. Perhaps ITV could make a program about it in the jungle that is the NHS, but faced with that you'd probably be shouting, "get me out of here". 😯

Hope all the tests go okay and your treatment gets underway PDQ.

All the best with your treatment, you have a good sense of humour, that's good it helps to get you through. When I was going through chemo and radiotherapy I had gallows humour, which on reflection might have seemed slightly strange to some folk, but it helped me through. Hmmm, not sure about a name, I didn't give mine one, well none that I could repeat, but if I think of anything I'll come back. Keep smiling, onwards and upwards. x

good luck with your chemotherapy and keep up your sense of humor🍀🍀 😂 I had a problem with the taxol chemo and developed severe neuropathy so I had only 3 treatments. Luckily I did ok with the carboplatin

Thanks I have not got to the this is what we are giving you bit yet. It's a onrushing train I can hear it but at the moment it's not quite in sight.Mind you based on the speed things are going it's probably a express train.
