Hi   djleighp

I’m sure someone will be by to interpret these results for you; however, I have noticed that the letter also reveals your name and possibly your home address.

You have probably done this in error and it can be easily done but just for the future, you should avoid posting something that potentially reveals your identity. It’s for your safety :).

Or perhaps repost and hide your details - just a suggestion.

Take care.

I'm sorry I can't answer your question but I would suggest deleting your photo & re-posting it without your personal details, ie: your name, address, dob, your NHS number & your hospital number

Hi dijleighp. Ambulant meaning simply moving around. Presumably recently prior to the letter you posted you had a monitor put on you for 24 or 48 hours. The readings are a result of that monitor and for someone who also has Ischemic Heart Disease. Your average blood pressure reading for day time while your moving around and night time while your body was quiet and at rest were just a little higher than what your doctor feels is best for taking some strain off your heart. Like Thatwasunexpected said. Just needs a medication tweak to see if extra one will bring pressure down a little more to relieve the pressure in your arteries. Hope this helps you. But of course none of us on here are medically trained . And so you should be asking your GP or maybe a Cardiac nurse or even a Pharmacist to clarify this for you.

What I don't get every time I check my blood pressure on the home machine it's always around 160 to 173 and always over 100 on the bottom
