Blood spots on my forearms

Does anyone else suddenly have blood spots under the skin. I take aspirin but lately they are getting larger and appearing suddenly

My father in law was on lots of meds for various heart conditions and he had big blood spots on his arms . He was very conscious of them but it was just one of those things.

Yes thank you. I think it may well be aspirin as I never had anything quite like this before - also it’s been pretty hot lately

Skin getting thinner with age can cause this to happen, especially if skin has been sun damaged over the years. Probably a good idea to speak with your GP just incase there is any connection with taking aspirin regularly.

Hi Pollypuss. My arms look as if I have been battered. Spoke to the Pharmacist at my G P,s yesterday. It's because I'm on Aspirin and Clopodgril. My skin is thin. Advised to moisture a lot and take off my watch and bracelets at night. I cover with me up if I'm going somewhere nice otherwise don't bother. Small price to pay for my health. Take care x
