I am only a small part Janner as we lived in MQs in Plymouth. Now in Dorset ourselves so moving closer back to Guzz !!! LOL

We used to live up on the patch at St Budeaux I did much prefer Guzz to Pompey nicer class of people !!

Same here, can’t beat union street and the naval school of dancing establishment located on it. As a sailor I always felt welcome in guzz and devonport was home. Pompey, although the grub at Nelson was gorgeous, I much preferred Guzz

Must be older than you Nelson was Vicky Barracks in my day lol. I thought you was going to say the food on HMS Victory was gorgeous now that would of made you older than me.. The Long Bar in the Prince Regent was not a bad place, and the NAFFI was the biggest Naffi in the UK !! My favourite Navy Nosh was Spam Fritters and Babies Heads, not actual babies heads just in case someone reads that and sends round the Naval Patrol . No wonder we needed bypasses with the Food and Cheap Cigs along with a glass of Grog everyday !!

I was a pompey rating,big ships.Spent a year at culdrose.Now that's where you'll find real janners.lol x

I thought Cornish locals were known as Spaniard's due to all the Spanish Invading Cornwall !!

HMS Seahawk now that was a Big Ship mind you being made of Concrete it never went very far.

Says it all the nearest big town is just known for a Floral Dance !! LOL making a Sunday Morning Smile
