l am due a check at my local GP surgery, the nurse who does it is a very close friend, l am worried about going but can't think of a way round it. Any ideas? Stay safe my virtual friends. Sue x

lNR check next week.
You need to ring your GP practice to clarify. It is important that your INR is in range and stable. Nobody here can advise you.
Thanks for your reply, l will do that. l had an echo last Friday in a Bristol hospital not one of the large ones dealing with the virus, all scans were cancelled except for heart echos so it was just me there and a elderly man. Luckily the Doctor explained all the images and reassured me all was well. Stay safe, Sue.
It might be worth considering home monitoring going forward (meters in short supply at the moment). Glad echo was clear.
Thanks, l don't want to bore you but l find you easy to chat to and l value your advice, you are very wise! My next worry is a telephone consultation on Thursday about my bowel screening results which need further tests. l cannot have a camera inside and need a CTC a scan of the bowel. l have to have this because my pacemaker is in my stomach with wires going up instead of down to my heart. l also am on warfarin and cannot change because of my AVR and l am prone to haematomas. With this virus l don't know if this will be done, plus my Husband is still working, told to, and coming back into the house every day from the steel industry even though he takes many precautions. Very worrying times, stay safe, Sue.
Hello
I have my INR on Friday
My nurse called me from the surgery today to confirm I have no cough temperature etc
An INR is essential to keep your blood at night the correct ratio
Community nurse for me. I really didn't feel safe getting there by taxi.
