Just had a call that my appointment for Monday will be by phone at the same time as the Clinic Appointment was scheduled.

Echocardiogram is still on for this Thursday

That's what happened to me last week. As I need to ahve a blood test, and so need to visit the hospital, they've asked me to pop in and get an ECG done, followed by a short face to face to discuss the results of the 2 tests.

Good luck with the Echocardiagram, is it the standard version or the TOE?

Yeah pretty straight forward Echo on Thursday then Discuss results on Monday. I saw Cardiology last week and they requested Echo as Urgent, looking to fit a CRT device, it appears a Year on Entresto hasn't done much to improve things.

The shock from the Appointment was when told due to being over 70 it precludes a Transplant and that I am at the end of the road for Medication !that's why I don't want a letter Boo Hoo LOL

Umm - not really sure I have anything that can possibly be an appropriate response to that news...

Sorry to hear Entresto has not worked. I really benefitted from it, except it gave me the most persistant and chronic cough.

Let's hope the results come back positively and allow you to have some sort of treatment that can resolve this issue to the point of returning your life back to some form of normality.

I totally get what you're saying Frank, we were told by the GP surgery this morning that Kevin needs to isolate for 12 weeks and that he'll be getting a letter but I personally think the lady who said it has got it wrong.

We're waiting to discuss results of last echo with consultant, at the last appt there was talk of adjusting his ICD to start pacing him, does leave you a bit I'm limbo as to what will happen next.

You need an echocardiogram app on your phone. I once photographed a X-ray of a hand, and then laid the phone on my hand and told someone it was a X-ray app. They believed me! 😁
