I had one fitted last summer. The main thing is to not do anything to even slightly wrench the wires out of place for the first 6 weeks or do. After a month I was told that they were not getting the correct readings and that one of my wires had micro-moved but enough to need me to have it redone. It’s a month no driving and you must tell the DVLA! Otherwise, once it’s in it’s reassuring. I wasn’t convinced I needed one but just after mine was put in my brother had heart failure and was kept alive by his wife giving him timely CPR! He now has a device too. You won’t regret it.
Hi, I had a CRT P fitted 8 weeks ago and I can comfortably say that after the two week recovery, I am now feeling better and able to do so much more. It’s on the cards that I will have central node ablated but I’m in no hurry to have that
I had mine fitted a year ago. I didn't notice anything remarkable just a slow positive improvement to my symptoms which I hope is still happening. Within 6 months my EF went from 28% to 39%.
The op is nothing to worry about - I have had worse visits to the dentists.
Had my CRTP 10 days ago, so still recovering. The bruising is almost gone now and arm mobility is good. Trying to stop myself doing too much as I don’t want to misplace the leads. Good luck 💕
