CRT-D update

Hi all. Just an update on my CRT-D journey. Had my implant done 5 weeks ago and leads displaced so was due to go in and have them re positioned. Last week I started with pain and inflammation around the wound site, today I am back in hospital with a pocket infection. On Thursday I will have my implant removed and remain on IV antibiotics for a further 2 weeks and then they will try to implant on the right hand side. Gutted to say the very least.

Sorry to hear about your problems. I hope the second attempt goes better. I had no problems nearly three years ago. You have been so unlucky.

Sad to hear about your CRT-D difficulties. I have gone down that road of wonky lead placement, having to move the CRT-D pacemaker pack ......... sort version hang in there. It's worth the effort. Smile, Breathe and go slow. You'll get there.
