High BP

Hi all, for years my BP has been in the region of 125/86 ish since recent surgery it has slowly increased and is now 169/108, my medication was increased yesterday. This recent increase was found at a pre-assessment app where there was also something on my ECG but it was all a blur. Haven't mentioned that I've had a few pains to the left chest but more like a pulled muscle, nothing I've read suggests i should be worried about this type of pain, is that correct?

That higher reading is what mine was at gp the other day. Didn't comment on it. Took it again standing and it was 178/119. She said at least it didn't drop. You couldn't write it. Iv lost all confidence in medics here

Most of us on here are not medically qualified, so cannot advise on the condition. However, if you are at all concerned about pains in your chest, you should go and see your GP. It may be nothing, but then again ..... better to be safe than sorry

Thank you for your replies, to be on the safe side I've booked in to the GP's for an ECG.

I need to say wat ur pain is like and even if it’s low level pains tell them. I often say “not relle” wen ask about my pains as they aren’t that bad but I kno my cardiologist knos I get pains but not that bad. Think about cutting bad fat and salt.
