Travelling abroad with a heart problem

All my life I have been a very healthy human. AF was found when having a preop ECG ready for a total hip replacement. For a couple of Month post op nothing was done, until I was prescribed Apixiban, (I refused Warfarin) then October I asked my GP to refer me to a cardiologist, my 1st appointment Dec 2017 I was given Diltiazem. I struggled walking uphill, stairs, and any exertion made me short of breath. A cardioversion was planned but 2 appointments were cancelled!!!!! Overloaded hospitals!!!!, then 29th March 2018 I had my successful cardioversion and I feel wonderful. I am back in the gym doing cardio training, walking whenever I have the time and thoroughly enjoying life once again. But travel insurance is difficult to obtain now SO I'm hoping from using BHS site I can find company who will insure me so I can carry on with my passion for travel. 💖

I have bought annual insurance from Staysure but my Proxymal Atrial Fibrillation is not covered which is worrying.
