Thanks everyone!

Thanks everyone!
I have PSA and have had issues with muscle contractions for years including my back, and feet. I also have very tight muscles in my back, chest and neck area as well, for that I have recently started lidocaine injections. For the back spasms I have to be careful on my movements, bending and lifting which will bring on a painful muscle spasms. I also now drink a daily electrolyte, I add it to my water and it seems to be helping with keeping hydrated and the leg/foot/ankle muscle spasms that I get. I seem to dehydrate very quickly and even more so when my stomach issues act up. The spasms in my leg/foot/ankle are not like a typical “Charlie horse” type spasm that you can get in the calf , but in muscles that are inside and can’t be reached to massage out (they are excruciating) Let me know if you have any other questions!
I have been dealing with muscle spasms also for about 9months. Usually at night and practically catapult me out of bed! From my hamstring to my foot so I literally have fallen just trying to stand and stretch my muscles. I have found taking oral magnesium citrate capsules has helped and eating bananas. I’ve tried muscle relaxers but when it’s extreme the dr had to give me low dose of Valium
I hope you find the right things to bring some relief
I’m started physical therapy tomorrow for thoracic back spasms
Sincerely, Susie
