Hi all! I’m new here! I’m 5’6” and around 200 pounds. I had surgery on my foot/ankle about 3 weeks ago and am struggling with the fear of gaining weight as I am now mostly sedentary. I would much rather lose weight, but I just don’t know if it’s possible in my current state (I can’t put any weight on my foot at all). I work with a dietician who suggested that I follow a high protein/low carb diet which I have been, but is there anything else I could be doing? I’m a teacher and would really like if my pants were loose, or at least still fit when I go back to school in August.
