Relax. The last thing you need now is a cortisol overdose on top of the sugar! Where they nice? Did you enjoy them? Treat yourself with kindness and move on.

While researching carb cycling, I found a very interesting presentation on YouTube by Dr Jason Fung called: Therapeutic fasting: solving the two compartment problem. The way he explains the switch between using glucose or stored fat as source of energy is quite something. It might interest you.

May I suggest something that helped me? Find that little girl within you. The child before things started going wrong. Look after her. Whenever I feel like doing something no-so-good or slightly destructive, I look at my "little me"- she is between 3 and 4- and I wonder if I would do that to her. A few days ago I went into a "chocolate crisis". I looked at her and she was fine! She was laughing her head off like: yay!!! So "we" had chocolate, not a crazy amount (because I didn't want my little one to end up the day feeling miserable and yuk) but really enjoying it, not thinking about the calories, not feeling guilty or beating myself up over it. The next day I was fine. I hadn't grown an extra head or anything like that and I was feeling relaxed. Take care of your emotions. Don't treat yourself badly, you don't deserve to be mistreated. We have enough of that coming from the world outside.

"Treat yourself by not having it".

Mindful eating. Why did you eat those cinnamon delights? Were you stressed, angry, bored? Finding what your relationshio with food is is immensely helpful. Then tell yourself several times a day how awful sugar is for you and what it does to your body.

The cinnamon delights are amazing. If you enjoy them, try to make them a reward and only have a 2 pack instead of a 12 pack. I normally get a 12 pack and hope my boyfriend eats enough so that there are only a few left πŸ˜‚.

β€” or you could make something similar at home.

Cinnamon treats without all the sugar maybe ?
