I am new here. I am a size 24 in women's. I just had surgery on my right shoulder at the end of July. I am not able to do a whole lot with it yet, so if anyone has any tips please let me know.

I am new here
Hi I had a similar problem a few years ago and I was worried about things like shopping. I bought a really jazzy shopping trolley which really took the strain off my shoulder. I still use it even though my shoulder is now fine.
I'm a guy - so size 24 doesn't relate but my BMI is 32. I had torn rotator cups twice. I use a cyro a machine but a good old fashion ice bag will give quick relief as well as a tens unit. The cryo machine will also help with swelling. Did your doctor schedule therapy and if that is not an option there are routines on-line that can increase your mobility and strength. The sooner you build it up the better chance you have of full recovery. History has shown me dedicated exercising can take from 6 months to a year for full recovery and the last percentages of recovery can go on for almost 2 years. At least in my body and I have had many more surgeries the most!
Take it as small steps at a time those will add up to big ones. Start with eating right get into the healthy eating. By that I have lost 50 lbs. in 6 months. Start moving little by little take more steps in a day. You can do it and feel better.
