What little something gives you a small lift and respite from your thoughts.

my animals. The greeting I get from my two little dogs when I get home and the foxes coming for their tea, sitting waiting down the garden for me. Can feel the warmth within that brings me. And bizarrely laying in bed, curled up with my dogs, Friday night, work finished for the week and laughing out loud at times watching Have I Got News For You on my phone! Can’t think of anything else causing such a reaction but I look forward to it. It’s a good temporary lift. How bout you? Take care 🦊x

Last night when I went out to a carol concert I the next village there were lots of dogs there with their owners especially mongrel dogs and a pup in the pub who is only 1 who was enthusiastic and jumped on me to say hello!

It's a good job that I like dogs so didn't mind!

One of the girls at swimming has a mongrel dog who is 13 and there is a snobby woman who goes there who is my age and is extremely small minded who had known the lady with the mongrel for years but didn't know she had a dog until I said!

My sister in law said how people like the small minded woman at the baths are too selfish to like things like dogs!

That woman had asked me had I retired all because I went to an early morning swim one day and thought I was in my 50s!

had a really bad day yesterday missing my daughter & sister so much & my life before. Just wanted to join them. I know what triggered it & I won’t be doing that again. I went out with a really nice group of women that I volunteer with. We went to a lovely pub delicious food but of course all the talk was about happy families sisters daughters grandchildren getting together for Christmas. I was screaming inside, I don’t think anyone noticed I hope not. So what did I do yesterday watched tv not a Christmas film 😡, a period drama, for most of the day bought a readymade meal drank too much & read my book. Early night but I survived the day.

Yes my dog helped he lay at my feet or over them. He seemed to sense that all was not well.

Such a shame that happened Caza you seemed to be doing well recently.

Animals just know when you need comforting don’t they.

Try not to focus too much on this setback xx
