Sorry you had a miserable Christmas Chloe.I was ok while my son was staying here for a couple of days.I miss him a lot now.Christmas is hard with so many memories of past good times with lost loved ones.

I got to boxing day without saying "I don't like Christmas "I tried not to say it this year!

Itching to take the decorations down now.🙄

Hi Sandradsn

I pleased you had some time with your son, it helps but afterwards can be hard xx

I was all dressed up and ready to go to Christmas lunch when the phone rang, grandson had just tested positive, end of my Christmas!

I'm so sorry, that must of been so disappointing for you Chloe. Its hard enough going through our grief without the added pandemic going on.I've heard of more people I know getting covid this week.

I'm staying away from shops and the sales etc.My husband is vulnerable and I have an immune thing.

However if the sun shines I will go for a walk, its so grey and drizzly here today even the cat is reluctant to go out!.x

Ha ha Kenny! I'm taking my decorations down on New Years Day, I haven't done that for years but they just have to go!

hi Chloe sorry to hear that that`s awful hopefully he`ll be ok real soon.our son tested positive on 21 think it was and was sent home from school but he tested negative Christmas eve and everyday since then we think he had it days before but who knows.I know it`s not the same but you could still meet up and have a Christmas themed get together with the family.

Had a pretty awful Christmas as well. The three of us have covid. Not that we had many plans, ok we didn’t have any plans. Last year I don’t know, seemed acceptable & everyone was in the same boat but this year people were out & about having a good time, or so it seemed. I’m going to have to do something different next Christmas. Can’t stand another one like this. Although my son did us proud with all the meals he cooked even though he was unwell.

Oh no! Caza so sorry to read this.

It was such a downer wasn't it? I stripped every decoration and packed them away! I don't want any reminders of that Christmas.

Thankfully you had your son, bless him.

Yes indeed, something different next Christmas.
