My lovely friends twin sister

I was friendly with a guy and then he had 1 year and 10months of cancer but it caught him eventually.

His sister lives far but we are in touch.

One night she asked me if he ever hit me and I went quiet

She got upset and started to cry. I told her it was a one off and he was drunk. I so wish I had said no but she knew by myself not answering.

She called me last night and we chatted. She also said not to worry cos she knew he wasn't a Saint.

Her birthday is in January and sadly it would have been her brothers.

Any advice please on comforting her?

That's a tough one, although I think she already knew the answer and that's why she asked the question. Just emphasise the good times and good qualities whenever you can.

That's what myself and his neighbour do. We have told her funny stories.

like GOGO said you could put our your mind that episode and remember the better times and make it a great birthday for his sister one she`ll remember even if it`s just a small gift.
