What you loved about them:

One thing you will always remember about them:

And what possession is your special reminder of them.

Thank you for this invitation to share my memories. I appreciate it.

I loved my lovely mum’s sense of fun, her constant positivity and love of life. She absolutely loved life.

I’ll always remember her intelligence. She could solve problems and work things out. I could ask her anything and she knew the answer! She was academic but also practical.

Her beautiful engagement ring is my special reminder of her. I wear it and I think of her when I look at it.

I remember my lovely mum as full of fun and laughter - she experienced sadness too but always tried to put a smile on her face. I remember the way she made me feel as we went out on day trips - carefree and excited. I don't have any special reminders of her but do have the memories and she is always in my heart.

My memories of my dad who died last year are more complex and will take longer to process and get over unfortunately.

when my son was born I was the first person to ever hold him that meant everything to me.i was a bit of a troubled young lad but that instant feeling I had could have changed me back then but sadly even that moment was snatched away.his beautiful little cheeky face is what I loved about him the most.my possessions are very few but I wont talk about that for now because I will post on the 15th march his 20th anniversary.

So many things to remember but one thing? Hmm.. one thing about my dad was that he was an honest and respectful person with a good heart. He had his flaws and issues with addiction but he was a GOOD person. I also admired his old school ways and values. Hm as far as one possession I have a memory box with his things that mean something to me. But ONE would be the tattoo I got of his handwriting from an old card he gave me. It says LOVE DAD. They copied it. 💛
