Hi Chloe,

You know, i used to Love Christmas and BOXING Day It was my Mum's Birthday on BOXING Day and I always used to have all the FAMILY out our house for a good old get together for my Mum's Birthday.

But then everything changed, and now I'm glad when its all over with.

I lost my Dad on December 10th and I lost my Mum on December 31st,NEW YEARS EVE.

It's also my Brothers Memoriam in the January ,but not the same year.

He was only 24 years old.

Both my Parents passed away with Cancer.

Have you heard of LIGHT UP A LIFE.

We light up a candle in

LLANTARNAM ABBEY and both my Parents names are read out, also my Brother's Then the Nun's sing and say a Prayer

Then we all go outside to the Christmas Tree and all the lights are switched on.

So every year i have 3 lights lit up on it.

1 for my Mum, 1 for my Dad and I for my Brother. All their names are in the Book of Remembrance .

Im not able to get there anymore but i know that their names are still being read out because I have a card from the ABBEY each year asking me if I want it to continue. Of course I said YES PLEASE.

This is why I don't like Christmas anymore.

I know Christmas can be a Happy and Sad time for such a lot of people out there Bless Them.

Hope you don't mind me telling you this now because I know Christmas is a little while away yet.

But I know if I don't tell you now, I won't be able to do it when it gets any nearer.

It's breaking my Heart♥️ to do this now but I just had to tell you how I feel. 😥.

Goodnight and .Godbless to

Everybody Everywhere. Although i don't know any of you, i feel so sad for you and your loss.

Big Hugs to you all xx. Gjkas

Hi Gjkas

That's so sad, to lose three of your close family members at such a time, I'm so sorry {{{Hugs}}}

It's it such a constant reminder, year after year that you must dread it coming around.

Yes, I know about 'Light up a Life' my daughter is an end of life nurse specialist and they have this every year too, I think it's an amazingly comforting time to be together with others.

I wish you well Gjkas, take good care of yourself x
