Be kind to yourself
Don’t feel obliged to accept invitations, visit or participate in Christmas get togethers.
Do or don’t do whatever gets you through this period.
Stay in your Pj’s if that’s how you feel.
Have some me time, pamper yourself, you deserve it.
Reflect on your loved one, look through your Memory Box and try to give thanks for the good memories you created together.

Eat your favourite food.
Light a candle in memory of your loved one.
Decide on one positive change that will help you towards acceptance.
Think about volunteering, it helps to give something back to others.
