Christmas is not a Happy time for everyone

The feelings of Grief are often magnified at Christmas, while others are excited, we have feelings of dread, emptiness, and extreme sadness.

Be kind to yourself

Don’t feel obliged to accept invitations, visit or participate in Christmas get togethers.

Do or don’t do whatever gets you through this period.

Stay in your Pj’s if that’s how you feel.

Have some me time, pamper yourself, you deserve it.

Reflect on your loved one, look through your Memory Box and try to give thanks for the good memories you created together.

Watch your favourite Box set,

Start that new puzzle you bought.

Eat your favourite food.

Light a candle in memory of your loved one.

Decide on one positive change that will help you towards acceptance.

Think about volunteering, it helps to give something back to others.

Wise words. Thanks Chloe I’m feeling really sad, a neighbour who I used to meet & chat to on our puppy walks took his own life four days ago. I had no idea he felt that way. He was always chatty & helpful with the pup. He leaves a wife & 3 children. 😞. I thought about passing on the numbers that you posted on here but maybe too soon.
