Special thoughts for my Dad, on the Anniversary of his death 24/9

Hi Chloe,

I am very sorry about your Dad...

Exactly one year ago I lost someone very close to me in traumatic circumstances and it is still very tough. I felt I should have done more to somehow prevent it, even though he was very ill and I was out of the country. It was premature death and he could have made it if only he took better care of himself.

I'm trying to process things and hoping to find some acceptance eventually. Talking things through has been helpful.

I have had major happy events this year and I am blessed with the best support from my husband who is my rock.

So sorry you've been through such a sad time. Trauma such as this is so difficult to cope with and it's still early days but you will get there, just don't rush things. So glad you have such great support.

Yes, I always visit the cemetery and then cook his favourite dinner. I always seem to be thinking of him for several days around this time.
