I realise with my being unwell, we have missed our shared 'Sunday lunch' how about this Sunday?
Can we have some meal ideas please, easy enough for all to prepare

Sorry for not posting sooner C40 . I've been inundated with tedious jobs. But i'm back and all ears. Mmmm ... do you fancy anything from the sea or a meat dish that has a quorn equivalent or maybe something vegetarian.
If there are any visitors from the plane Vega , please hold up your hand now {{{oh my what's that lump on my head}}} sorry everyone , i don't know what came over me. Does anyone know what to do with prawns ? or chicken ? or beef ?
I'm easy Greyone all those sound delicious to me, can you post us an easy to follow recipe, yumm...looking forward to this.

Steady on now C40 you're coming to the boil too soon. How about something based around chicken and rice. Not sure what sort of rice but maybe something like that to start with would fulfill out ideas of easy and changeable for those with other needs ? How do you think we could extend that ? maybe vegetables or mushrooms ? I'll have to think on tonight about this.... back soon.
Right sorry about that... but take a look at this. There's all those funny adverts on it so here's a link:spendwithpennies.com/chicke....
Only four ingredients required:
4 chicken breasts
1 cup long grain white rice uncooked
1 1/2 cups water
1 package onion soup mix or use homemade
10 oz can cream of mushroom soup
Original Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Spray 9×13 pan with cooking spray. Add chicken breasts and season with salt & pepper.
Pour uncooked rice over chicken. Sprinkle with onion soup mix.
Combine mushrooms soup and 1 1/2 cups of water. Pour over chicken.
Cover and bake 1 hour 15 minutes or until rice is tender.
I'm going to try and modify this for one person and cooking in a microwave. There is plenty of room for flexibility such as mushrooms instead of rice or just using a chicken/chasseur sauce.
What do you think C40 and suggestions ?
Sounds great Greyone
For those that don't like mushrooms, they could try the Asparagus condensed soup, I used that in other recipes a very long time ago, if fact I've just checked and I still have a tin...hmm....wonder how old that is then.
Any more suggestion s anyone?
Chloe
I like you idea of Asparagus condensed soup. I've never used CS for cooking things. probably try rice instead of mushrooms though and maybe some small veg to go with it. Something that looks better than peas , but i may resort to them as well.
I'm getting a tin of peaches to have with my porridge tomorrow morning so i;ll probably finish them off for pud. My plan is to cook mine for dinner on Sunday when it's nice and quiet and i can take my time. What about you Chloe ?
Sounds lovely Greyone and I'll join you on Sunday and I'll have the peaches too, I already have those, so I'll pop them in the fridge.
Enjoy!! and thank you.

Just had a delicious lunch, followed by peaches and strawberries that a neighbour gave me this morning, topped with a little Greek yoghurt, lovely
Enjoy yours!

Well chloe. I've been in Tupperware heaven for over an hour now. My dinner ended up as Cream of Mushroom Soup for starters, followed by Chicken in Mushroom sauce with finely chopped carrots with a little finely chopped onion and some diced potatoes.
Decided to have the starter whilst i cooked my main course. It was all really nice.
Still can't figure out how to upload photos so here they are in Greyone flickr. Enjoy.
