Some of us may not have had such good memories of our Dads like myself, but he's always in my heart especially today.

Hi Hidden

Try not to regret things in the past, we all do it and yet it just makes us sadder. I’m sure you were a kind daughter and he was very aware how much you cared.

As you said, he isn’t suffering anymore thankfully.

Putting his Father’s Day card next to his photo was a lovely idea, I might just take that up in future x

Today we had a walk out in the fresh air which we enjoyed and stopped at 11.30am for a minutes silence as thats when my father died that sunday in april back in 2021 and then onto the Fox and Hounds pub where we had booked a table and I had a roast beef dinner which I enjoyed and then outside to the beer garden.

I have had people tell me I am sick for honouring a man that abused me and they said how my father's life had caused a nuisance rather than the cats as my father had claimed that the life of the family cat was a nuisance and I got told your father's life's a nuisance!

It was nice being out and about today rather than hiding away!

Good for you Turnipgirl

Pleased you enjoyed yesterday.

Some people are really insensitive, sorry you had to listen to that.

Hoping your week is productive for you.

Last week we all had a pre employment call centre training course in the city centre which I enjoyed and a company claimed there were going to be interviews on the Friday afternoon and we all went there on the Friday thinking we were getting interviewed and no we weren't and a lady had cried saying she had spent £4.70 on a bus ticket for nothing and I said it's not nothing as it's a lesson not to go to this employer again!

I had ended coming home early feeling really cross as that was a cruel trick to play to say there's interviews and then no they're not getting peoples hopes up and then dashing them!

They did claim they will be ringing us between 12.30pm and 2pm today but I reckon they just said that to fob us off to shut us up!

Today it's an interview at 11am for a receptionist at a vets and then onto swimming for 2pm.

That’s rough Turnipgirl what a shame but I have a positive feeling today and the arranged interview you have so very best of everything.

Enjoy your swimming x

Like I said to the lady that cried on Friday when they pulled that trick when things like this happen it feels like the world has ended!

I'm thankful I saw their true nature before it was too late then that would have hurt a lot harder than what did!

Anyway I went to my interview this morning and went away from it feeling I had given it my very best and she says she will be in contact a week tomorrow which is fair enough.
