To cheer myself up this morning, i have been trying to write down my names, address and telephone number with my none dominant hand (left). It is supposed to demonstrate what it feels like to be bereaved. Has any one ever tried this.
Some say its a bit like driving on the wrong side of the road. Just a very weird feeling.

I'm reading a book by Sue Morris called overcoming Grief: A self-help guide. I've felt unfulfilled by the books I've read to date but this is supposed to be a self help guide using CBT . This is exercise 2.2 and i think it is supposed to "help us understand why we feel the way we do when we grieve". I cant explain it myself but i think i can appreciate the oddness of doing this compared to using my right hand. Maybe not a bad attempt. Good luck.
