Epididymitis

Hi everyone I have now got epididymitis it's very sore and because of the infection everywhere is sore muscles joints ect. My hips and lower back is stiff and painful and my blood sugar levels are very high so feeling pretty ill at the moment.

Totally get where you are. It hurts like hell. Ibuprofen or naproxen helped me massively and paracetamol too. Bags of iced peas were strangely helpful.

I am still not back to normal and the consultant I saw advised it is most likely never to be back to how it was before. Was advised that it was probably due to my vasectomy a few years back.

Nightmare. Convincing drs that it couldn’t be an STD was an uphill battle!!

Hi yes that's what my consultant said. I had the snip three years ago to. Can't take ibuprofen or anything like that because it plays havoc with my asthma but I am on oral morphine for my pains from my joints and pain from when I was in ICU from flesh eating disease called necrotizing fasciitis and sepsis. I had a fair sizeable piece of groin taken away. But with what is happening around the world at the moment epididymitis is nothing.

Dear Pete11, being male with behcets, you have high chance of Paranchyml Neuro Behcets brainstem/lesions, as my son has, he had the same issue...please, make sure you must see your Doctor urgently via online appnt now, that you MUST be on azaithporine or similar immunosupp, to stop organ damage, he had all of these symptoms what you describe, and they too gave him niproxin...soon after he ended up with MRI, etc....please see your Rheumatologist...or call the Behcets Centre and Request Azaithporine with doctors...

Pains in my groin pains in my testicles & too sensitive to touch after explaining to my doctor he gave some antibiotics which I tried but they didn't help, when he started talking about surgery, wasn't buying the idea then I had to share with a friend What I was going through, he suggested I try this page on facebook (#EHTP) that was how I searched for the page and found it.
