Joint pain
Sorry to hear you are experiencing pain in joints often associated with Behcets.
I can only refer to my own 30+ years of my living with Behcets
Rest if you can, easy to say but not an option for many of us. Splint wrists using wrist supports to aid resting, I’ve used them at night to minimise joint movements. I’ve also used neoprene and elasticated ankle supports and in older years got hospital fitted orthotics to minimise pronation but that’s something I’ve done since I was a kid.
I’ve not used ice or warm packs so maybe worth a try to see if that helps. Problem with this is you need to use your wrists so not always practical but easy to try.
Pain relief is so subjective but NSAIDs (Ibuprofen etc) up to Naproxen did work for me but I ended up on Tramadol and topical diclofenic (Voltarol).
Talk to your doctor, nurse practitioner or even pharmacist. They may not understand Behcets but they do know how to treat non-inflammatory and mainstream arthritis which is easier way to explain and well documented on sites like Arthritis UK.
Take care and I hope you get something to work for you.

Kevin
Hi there.
I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis shortly after being diagnosed with Behcets. Dr says it's common for patients with autoimmune/inflammatory diseases to develop Arthritis of some kind. I 100% agree with Kevin...rest, heat, ice and meds. It's all that really helps me. I'm on a weekly injection to help keep symptoms minimal. I hope you can see your Dr soon and can get some relief.
Best Wishes!

nabumetone worked well for me. I also have used the occasional ice pack. Its inflammation, it certainly helps. It will not hurt to cut sugars (inflammatory) and add in some anti inflammatory herbs like rosemary and oregano. That's what I do! good luck!
Hi, I actually found colchicine lifted my joint pain, also hydrotherapy is a huge help. Re hair loss, this can be a side effect of meds but also found with auto immune conditions. So might be worth a bit of research especially if with other symptoms. Best wishes
