Has anyone been diagnosed with fibromyalgia following their Behcet's diagnoses?
Today I had my check up at the COE in Birmingham and was told I have fibromyalgia on top of the Behcet's which is why I have been so poorly the last few months.
Anyone have any tips on anything that can help with flare ups?

Are you doubting the diagnosis? What is your pain like? Can you describe it in your own words?
I have fibromyalgia pain throughout my body. I was diagnosed 15 years ago but have suffered the symptoms since my teen years. I'm 45 now. It changes location , intensity and type. It seems to flare and remit. Hard to describe type of dull generalized pain that radiates up and down. Sometimes aching other times it is excruciating.
I'm happy to answer fibromyalgia questions but I haven't been diagnosed with BD though it is quickly making my short list. I have always doubted my fibromyalgia diagnosis as I have a host of other symptoms that are becoming rapidly more serious in nature and not related to fibromyalgia at all. I posted just above you. I'm brand new here.
I'm not really doubting the fibro my mum has had it for 15 years so I always knew there was a possibility I could eventually get it.
I think I'm more shocked as this is the second long term illness I have been diagnosed with in 7 months. As I was diagnosed with Bechets in February.
I was more wondering what people do when both flare up together.
The pain I have it spread across my body and it's an achy flu like feeling. I also often wake with numbness in my hands and get a lot of pin and needles in my hands and feet.
