Fever

I had unprotected sex . Six days later I had a very bad fever for more than a week. (My temperature went up to 42 degrees, then back to 36 degrees, then back to 42 degrees, I couldn't eat and walk) I went to the doctor when I was really ill but he just gave me paracetamol. As I read about the HIV, most people seems to have symptoms after two weeks after having sex. I am really worried.

Whilst it could just be a simple flu you have caught, the only way to exclude HIV is to get tested. Visit your local sexual health / GUM clinic (bashh.org/clinic).
